  1. Okay... So because I'm dumb I looked at used 2021/22 Volvo V60s now. after I drove that XC60.

They're about 30k€ with 40-60000km on the clock. I want one. They look awesome. One was a T6 Recharge model with 340hp or something like that. I need that. I need that NOW! Someone stop me. Please... 😐

My dad always said his dream daily was a V60 or a Buick regal wagon (ROW Vauxhall insignia estate)

  2. I rented a Volvo XC60 T8 Recharge (455HP, 709NM) yesterday and have been driving it for about 400km so far. It's pretty good, but definitely not a car that I would buy. The seats aren't all that comfortable, because the headrest is non-adjustable and the thigh support is kinda uneven.

Also, it's an SUV. So it drives like an SUV, which means it's incredibly uncomfortable and handles like a boat.

    Mustang GT > XC60 😄

I would love to try an S60 or V60 tho.

Makes you less prone to falling asleep while driving

I specifically added a laughing emoji for this reason. Also nothing wrong with comparing apples and oranges. Apples are definitely better.

Conclusion: My phone can do that.

Conclusion: No one actually needs any of these features that this offers, whether a smartphone can do them too or not.

Get a Casio F-91W. The only piece of wearable tech you will actually need.

Not once in my life did I ever buy anything because I needed it. I always bought it because I wanted it. Capitalism ftw!

I have a Casio AE-1300WH-8AV (rolls off the tongue what is this a sony product?). Its beautiful to look at.

  4. The new Porsche Macan looks like yet another egg shaped car...

Reminded me immediately of the insanely ugly GLE Coupe.

I don't understand how anyone can buy these cars eggs on wheels.

Who the hell is saying to themselves:

"I want a tall SUV that can't really go offroad, that has less room than a normal SUV and is also really ugly compared to anything else on the road. And because that's not enough, I also want it to be electric, so that its range is basically 0, because it's super heavy and about as aerodynamic as a sky scraper"

Even the first-generation Touareg looks like an offroad monster in comparison to those things...

      Welcome to the Tesla Cybertruck

  5. You wouldn't even be able to use a Thunderbolt cable with a USB C port. It needs to be a Thunderbolt port! But as mentioned before, don't do it that way. It's a headache to get it running properly and even then it consistently causes issues.
  6. omg I hate people who can't explain to me what sort of adapter they need.

Someone just came to me and told me they need a "USB C adapter". I asked whether she needed an adapter to or from USB C and what she wanted to adapt.

She literally just said "a USB C adapter" again. I was about to strangle her with a USB C cable...

Walked into an autozone and an old guy was demanding a battery for his "2010 Mercury". Didn't know the model, just the brand and year. What good is that?

Maybe Mercury only made a single car that year 😂

But in my state of Pennsylvania its how you say water can tell if you live in or near Philadelphia.

  9. Cause it's not relevant at all. You made a claim and I told you that it's not relevant. That's all that happened. Do you not understand how discussions work or are you just butthurt? Clearly butthurt. Very clearly butthurt.
  10. Logitech won't pay that much. But even at 50ct / switch, we'd be talking about 50€ for a 100 keys. So not even close enough to be relevant.
  11. Interesting:

During the 70s and 80s in Germany, there were rules put in place by the "Hauptverband der gewerblichen Berufsgenossenschaften" (main association of commercial trade associations) which limited the choice of colors for office equipment, including computers. It said that the equipment couldn't be too bright or dark, so it wouldn't reflect or swallow too much light. This is likely a major reason for why so much tech was beige back in the day.

  12. Your country is weird. We have taillights and brakes
  13. Sounds like a pretty standard road to me. Not sure what the big deal is. We just slow down. Is slowing down in the US illegal?
