omg, we pay ~120$ for better quality aftermarket parts like that, in germany. 
They are crazy. Even with the newest amg model, the part wouldn´t cost that much.

Once I had a friend, who asked me what directx version my new graphicscard supports.
 
-My graphicscard supports directx 10.
He: Thats cewl, my graphicscard too.
-I know your model, it supports only directx9
He: *thinks 4 seconds* Yes, I know. My uncle replaced the gpu in the card with a directx10 gpu.
-So, your uncle replaced the whole gpu unit, with a different gpu unit 
He: Yes.

I think it is because the video ist gpu accelerated. 
Search in catalyst control center if you can disable it for videos.

amd ftw, becauze cheapr. harder, faster better.
