RAM is RAM, the cheapest you can get at the speed you want is usually the best.
 
I prefer Dom Plats actually, out of all the RAM I've seen they are by far the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
 
For you, I'd recommend the Value Select, especially since it's cheaper. Heatspreaders on memory isn't really critical, they don't do much other than look freaking great(depending on what kind you get)

Pretty much only for gaming. It's great for general gaming, but for FPS games, I go with headphones with a deeper soundstage, better imaging, and much less overpowering bass.
I think it's awful for hard rock and metal, mostly because the vocals sound drowned, but I don't think I like colored sound for these genres. For hip-hop and rap, I think it's good. I'm not into audio for music as I am for games.

I own 4 of the NF-A14 iPPC 2000 IP67's and they perform really well but as it was mentioned above, the acoustics are less than desirable and I am currently looking for a suitable replacement for the front 2 intakes. 

Just my two cents on those.

rapid mode isn't the real speed, its just a very risky cache, id leave if off. a 960 is much faster.

Don't get such a big drive as boot drive, buy a 250GB SSD (if you want NVMe, the MyDigitalSSD is actually quite good and cheap), and you'll save buck like that while still having SSD performance. If you feel like you need more storage, just a good ole 2TB Hard Drive of any kind, you can put the games you're not currently playing there and move them around into the 850 Pro when you play them again.

UPS's don't typically have a lot of surge protection because it's a battery backup system, even if your power doesn't go out and say it there is a large variation in voltages due to a thunderstorm it will kick in the battery backup to correct for an over or undervoltage situation. Many smart UPS's have a tolerance which you can change for when that occurs.

I had so many problems with link for the first year of having my h100i. I even had to edit the registry to fix some things however all of these issues magically disappeared with link after I downloaded the windows 10 version. Other than detection of components, I'd say it's a nice software.

This is based idea I had for a very long time for a computer case. I always wished to have a tiny PC like something along the lines of NCase M1, but even smaller. And the GPU connects in its own enclosure to have direct fresh air from the outside, and connects to the top of the case.
Acer is releasing a new desktop PC which is modular. Using a special connector for each block, you can add components that you need.
SO basically, this is main system:

Then you can add a dedicated sound card, if you want sound (main system doesn't have one, probably made on purpose to not confuse the end user)
You can add your dedicated graphics card, external hard drive, etc.


I think it is pretty neat. I mean desktop system hasn't got any big innovation in ages, beside making it smaller. It is nice to see something different, even though no one here will buy it due to teh low specs, and obviously the external GPU isn't designed for a fancy gaming one, ore like the smaller form factors.

What do you think? Would you like more OEMs to do stuff similar to this? Do you think it will help OEM save money, and attract users to desktop computers a bit more than currently? Or stick to laptops, even thought many of them don't even move it from their desk?

You would need to use Corsair Link I believe to have fine control on the fans and pump, if you don't use Corsair Link you could power the pump via PWM and control it but I'm not sure if it's a pass through directly to the fans also.

It's just a decent 1080p TN Panel display. 
 
If I were you I'd look for an IPS Panel display, at 1080p around that screen size you can get one for the same price, and they will have better colour accuracy and better viewing angles, meaning little to no colour shift. 
 
If you are looking for super thin bezels, in the UK this one is the same price as the Asus, the Dell U2414H, or for even cheaper the Dell S2340L

Believe this monitor experiences some ghosting(someone correct me if im wrong). But Asus is a great monitor, Vesa mounts are a plus, and if u like the way it looks then that half the decision right there.

load up corsair utility thingy and save your desired lighting profile to the mouses's internal memory. this should fix the issue

This is a big deal, since PCs still don't have a proper PPC emulator for the Xbox 360 and now MS is making it work natively off the Xbox One. That is seriously awesome, AND ITS FREE. 
 
TAKE THAT SONY! Who wants to pay for your old games via a subscription service when MS is straight up letting old games work natively!
