Probably it's goin to work like the crew or they'll just be drivatars like in horizon 3. Don't really think that it'll affect anything.

Honestly get a single drive no matter which one tbh. That raid 0 perf looks pretty bad

That's a great idea.  Making PCs with 2x980Tis and 1080s with a 1TB of RAM hardly seems like scrapyard wars to me tbh.

From what I know you can't mix cooper and aluminium wc stuff. Acetal+nickel is a cooper block just with nickel plating to make it shiny and acetal is the material the top of the block is made of which is basically plastic. So you should be fine

Then 120Hz. Bigger difference than GSync imo

2 things : 144Hz all the way. It's just soooooo smooth, and the second one when in a year or so a game so power hungry will be released you can always drop to 1440p 60 and keep ultra settings

I like it but it would be better if it was able do fit like an Matx board for SLI (when u have this much rad surface why not go overkill). Imagine a 7960X dual 1080ti presented like that with minimal noise at full power.

    reapzzer got a reaction from good_moleman_to_you in [27" + 24"] vs. [24" + 24"] vs. Ultrawide
Personally use a PG278Q as my main monitor and some cheap 1080p 24 inch as a second monitor. Personally I don't really have any issues with them being different resolution and size but obviously any surround config is not going to work (I use my 27 inch for gaming and the 24 inch for other stuff like TS management music and stuff.). So I'd say go for a 1440p144 IPS Gsync monitor and keep one (I'd keep both because I like screens :D) and buy some kind of an arm to free some desk space.

You should not have two windows installs.
You need to wipe the entire drive and clean install windows properly.

Uh, no, that's not how it works.
You cannot "fix" another installation of windows by installing a second one.
You need to wipe the drive and clean install windows.
If you need any files from the previous installation you need to back them up somewhere else.

You can use the installation media's repair tool (Not installer) to repair things such as your boot manager/possibly slight corruption. Since you already reinstalled windows, I would try to pull your data off the partition with the corrupted windows on to your new windows install. Then delete the corrupted windows partition.

Windows is not corrupted, he's just trying to boot from a windows OS which was installed on a different PC, which you should never do.

It'll boot it just won't show any POST. I am aware of that. Just try to start the thing without a GPU as the PSU will still start.

    Replace the PSU pls.

    Nope, too old.
The old P8 only had 3 Years Warranty.
And was replaced somewhere in 2012 or so with the P10 (well and the 850W P9 of course 1 or two years before that)...

WHY did you buy a P8 in 2012? oO
    Was it especially cheap??

Because even before the P10, there was the (golden) P9 although with only 550, 650, 750 and 850W...

Only the fan controller is blown, nothing else is wrong with it.

    Hi guys!

Basically another topic of me having weird issues with my new PC. This time it's the power supply.
The PSU in question is be quiet! dark power pro p8 1000W that served me really well in my previous build (3930K one) and so I decided to move it to my new build.
The issue is really simple: fan keeps spinning at a really high rpm (my guess is max rpm) making it really loud and not worthy the be quiet! name

Even at idle the fans spins like crazy and I checked the air coming out of it and it was as cold as my feelings are to my new computer right now so the PSU is definitely not overheating or anything.

    Any suggestions are welcome

To be honest I'm fairly interested in how this board would handle something like an 7980XE or at least 7960X given it's tiny in comparison to something like an R6E power delivery system

Thanks for the replies @StevenMattera @ono.
Cheers guys and fingers crossed it doesn't break again
