The Benjamins got a reaction from KnightSirius in QNAP Releases new 2.5GbE + 10GbE Switches to the QSW Line
    Summary
QNAP Releases new 2.5GbE + 10GbE Switches to the QSW Line, the QSW-M2108-2C($249) and QSW-M2108-2S ($299). This should be a nice entry for people looking for a 2.5GbE and 10GbE switch for there home. These are added to the other cost effective 1GbE + 10GbE switches part of the past line up. Some past examples are the QSW-308-1C ($139) (308 line) unmanaged switch with 8 1GbE & 2 SFP+ & 1 10GbE Combo port (RJ45/SFP+) and the QSW-M408-4C ($299) (408 line) managed switch with 8 1GbE 4 10GbE Combo port (RJ45/SFP+) (both lines with a few port configuration options)

These look like great switches for home users looking for entry into higher LAN speeds with out crazy costs. I plan to pick up the QSW-M408-2C soon.

All this proves is that people are dumb. If people don't buy stuff over msrp then scalping wouldn't be a thing. Too many people support scalping so nothing is going to stop them

It's not even about Hardware Unboxed getting hurt in the first place; it's about NVIDIA attempting to strong-arm reviewers to only focus on the things NVIDIA approves of.

Maybe there is potential, but the price is just too much. 4000MHz RAM is so much more expensive for those extra 400MHz compared to 3600MHz RAM. It's basically twice the price. That's a hard thing to swallow for questionable benefits you may or may not get from it.

I am going to upgrade a PC to the 3600 soon, because I can get a MoBo, CPU and Ram for $350. its a great price over perf part.

But I do expect some cheaper non x skus of 5000 to come out later, which should be good Price over perf parts

I mean in a sense they are paying the game developers in a way that is far more effective than just money.

If it weren't for streaming, games like Among Us, Fortnite, PUBG, and pretty much any other game that has been a major phenomenon over the past few years would be unheard of. Game streaming is extremely lucrative for devs as its basically free advertising

It's hard to fail harder than Bethesda did by themself, so future is looking brighter now.

This might be a game changer for the NEXT generation of consoles, considering Bethesda's roadmap (2022+ for Starfield and ??? for TES6) but won't really change much for this one.

The Benjamins got a reaction from thechinchinsong in (UPDATE: Series S 100% Confirmed) Xbox Series X and Series S Prices and Launch Dates Leaked - $500 for X and $300 for S
I thought it was obvious 2 years ago that it was going to be around $500, maybe $600 if MS didn't want to take a lose on the hardware. people keep forgetting that this is effectively a 2021 product that will be in production for 4+ years had has all that time to recoup first years loses. and MS knows that they make most of the money by licensing cost and getting as many people into the ecosystem.

The Series S is a Xbox one X replacement, it is in the market to convince uses to not get the one X used/new but to get the Series S to move as much of the user base off the one gen as fast as possible.

also with the fact MS has the all access finance options for the new upcoming consoles ($25/$35 a month) it allows so many people to get into the new gen.
