My guide on saving Garry's Mod mods had a surge of popularity after the announcement of Facepunch removing Nintendo addons. While it's not the most popular guide anymore, it's still up there, as people are still desperately trying to save their mods from the Steam Workshop that are disappearing.
Interestingly, some Disney addons are also being removed, like the ones uploaded by JCThornton. Some individuals have taken the rather bold move of reuploading these addons they've held onto; here's hoping they don't get into legal trouble.

any time you try to tell your name to someone else they think you're saying "Ghostorm Plays" or "GeoStorm Plays"

I would change it to something else, but I've found that it's incredibly beneficial on social sites to have a simple, ideally one-word name. My username on most other sites is Stormy, which is still short for GoStormPlays, but simple enough to remember easily.

I would, but if I changed my name the idea would be to make it a short name. Stormy is a shorter version of GoStormPlays, and GoStormPlays is sentimental to me because the GOS letters in GOStormPlays are my initials lol.

Last day of HS as a senior today. So incredibly fun, got yelled at by the cops early this morning while we were putting cheese all over the massive sign for our school by the road, and lighting off fireworks because why not. Someone got into the bell system and changed the bells to make funny sounds, some kids were on the roof just hangin out, and my principals car is on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist with his phone number to call, and he got at least 3 calls about it this morning.
I'm sure gonna miss it. Now I've got responsibilities that I'm not sure I want lmao.

Rumors has it that OpenAI will launch a search engine as well as a few new models (GPT-4 lite and possibly GPT-4.5) on Monday.
The day before Google I/O where Google will probably announce a bunch of AI-related stuff.
Not sure if I want a search engine, but new models would be nice.

There’s a decently cheap 2009 corsair Hx750 on my local Craigslist and I kinda want to get it just to bait out the power supply nerds by pairing it with a 3080 or something in a build. Watching them talk down to people over power supplies and get increasingly irate is my favorite hobby.

Very impressive numbers!
If you told tech enthusiasts in the Bulldozer era that AMD CPUs 13 years into the future would be pumping out Cinebench numbers like this, nobody would believe you.
I sometimes can't even believe my laptop chip is faster than a Threadripper 1950X.
AMD and Intel really put the pedal to the metal when it came to this Core and Frequency war again. To think you have 16 "real" cores all practically hitting 5.0GHz or higher is nothing short of incredible.

7950x gets even higher with its 250W TDP. 14900k even higher than that at 250-300W.

I've decided that until I replace the VRM caps, I can't use my SS7 board. Its an earlier revision with a buck converter that as far as I know can't be set below 2.2V (rev 2/3 boards have one that is far more flexible), and despite being set to 2.2V I was reading anywhere from 2.4 o 2.6V. Which is actually quite dangerous for normal K6-2 let alone 2V K6-2+, which are safely rated for 2.1V at most (mobile K6-3 datasheet).

I have a CB Radio now. Along with the needed 5m tall antenna.
The guy who gave it to me said it has a 60km range, which I was able to verify because I managed to hear (even though just barely) someone from a city 70km away from my antenna.
