Which Poster do You Like Better?

Peepnbrick

I want to get some posters for my setup, since the walls are pretty barren, but I can't decide between these two. Convince me why one is better than the other! (Size and price differences do not matter).

1st, because I would probably skip 2nd without even reading it. If you wan't someone to notice it then 1st. 2nd one looks better overall, it's not as catchy tho.

1st one by far. Better poster material, and will get more attention.

The second one is too busy.

Agreed. Top one is much easier to read and the second one has too much going on.

I think the second one to be honest. A lot more references and in-jokes, generally more visually interesting, etc..

Are you picking the one that you like best, or the one that people are going to read? Who cares if people are going to read it... I don't pick my posters for the sake of reading material for others....

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

I suppose you have a good point there. The poster is going to be in a pretty secluded part of the house. Such a place where people passing by would have the time to read it all. In this way, readability shouldn't play a large role in the decision.

In terms of what I like better, the first is simpler and looks like something that was actually pulled straight from the game (which it was!) since it is just a single poster. The second one is a little less elegant.

Nevertheless, I like the content of the second poster more. Normally, that would be the deciding factor, but this object's sole purpose is to look good, not to have a ton of content, I'm still leaning toward the first one. I think it lends itself to being hung on a wall more, but you have weakened my desire for the first one a little bit.
