i5 5675c help not booting

Matriox

So I just replaced my 4790k with the new i5 5675c on my h81m motherboard(lga 1150) and when I power on nothing comes up on the screen when using my 290x, and same goes for trying on board graphics. Also the mouse and keyboard lights do not come on either. The cpu water block does heat up so I know somethings going on in there but Why is nothing coming on?

I know Haswell-Refresh works with 8-series chipsets, I've never heard whether or not Broadwell does. At the very least, it would need a BIOS update to add compatibility, I think.

Where did you find a 5675C? The only ones I see on sale are from Amazon from third-party price gougers for $355.

Also, wait, you replaced a what with a what?! Why did you do this?

Which board do you have?

Have you tried updating the Bios & why would you want to upgrade a 4790k?
