Poor FPS

immrthomas

I have been trying to play games on my new pc, and all my games fps are running poorly. I have all the drivers installed to the newest ones. I have changed ingame settings etc. I checked to see if pc was overheating, was not it. I have done about everything in my knowledge to try to fix it. Made sure everything was going through dedicated card not intel hd graphics. What can i do? My friends have little bit weaker pc than me, and run the games well. Getting irritated now lol

What kind of FPS are you getting and in which games? Also i would download GPU-Z and see if the game is actually using your GPU and not your on-board graphics.

Alright this may sound silly but do you have your monitors plugged into the GPU or the Mobo?

My 750Ti plays H1Z1 60FPS high-max settings... Download ASUS GPU Tweak, not to overclock but I like how you can monitor your GPU, the temps, usage, what its core clock is, what the memory is running at ect ect.. Just watch it while doing something? Download a thing called .furmark and do a burn in test on your GPU. What's was your score? ( Burn In Test takes 15 minutes )

well the gyazo tells you all about the gpu

Not near by PC so I asked you to get Furmark because I remember my score. Do the BURN IN test that says 1080p, it'll take 15 minutes ect ect.

Score 2490 Min FPS 24 Max FPS 31 AVG FPS 26 This was with NO AA.

Going to bed, so quote me when done. If I wake up in the middle of the night I'll return a message. Others in about 6 hours I'll be on then I'm going to school. I'll be on most,of tomorrow except between 2-5 P.M. Standard Eastern time,

Wow... Um. Alright here's a problem I encountered before.

Right click on your monitor, go,to Nvidia control panel, what's your monitors refresh rate set to?

Well I'm honestly stumped. Run Unigine Valley and compare to other people's.

Also when playing games turn down settings such as Grass density, or AA. AA don't go shove 8x unless your PC can truly handle it. 16x can really eat your FPS alive.
