ThefryLord

Hey guys! This is my first gaming PC build that I will be mainly be using to game at max (or close to) settings. I also plan to run two monitors when I save up a little more Tell me what you think! PS: I also would like to know how well the i5 and the GTX 970 that I've chose work together. Should i be choosing a GPU from AMD instead of the 970? Maybe an entirely different processor? Let me know all about it! I want to hear your suggestions.

R9 390 over GTX 970.

Performs better.

Lower price.

Get EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W PSU.

Get WD Blue 1 TB instead of Seagate. Seagate has high failure rates than any other.

Logitech G402/G502 is perfect imho.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

About Seagate, incorrect. Stop spouting nonsense that you have heard and provide proof.

I'm not spreading any non sense.

No body heard anything bad about WD drives.

I've bunch of broken Seagate HDDs. Like 10 to 12 of them. Every single of them is my friend's and relative's gave it to me hoping to get it fixed.

But unfortunately no fix due to it's bad sectors..

WD drives have a HIGHER failure rate than Seagate, not including Seagate's 1TB 2.5" and 3TB 3.5" drives. You got unlucky, and there was a period of time where Toshiba and Seagate's QA was much lower, because they had to provide for the whole industry after WD's factories got knocked out by a flood (2010 I think, don't quote me on that date though).

I'm not unlucky. People who are going to buy Seagate drives should go through some reviews and stuff.

I agree with you on Seagate less failure rate. But not now. It was way back. Like on IDE drives. And little later.

Right now the 390 and 970 are the same price. (via newegg)

Everything looks fine to me. Although I would go for a Seasonic power supply over anything else, dat warranty.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Ayy lmao, just waiting for those figures to appear. It has been proven multiple times that that graph is wrong, due to the fact that BackBlaze took consumer drives and put them into a server environment.

Still the list provides which brand's hard drives can withstand heavy use. I'm being practical. imo Seagate drives are not worth. WD drives are reliable than Seagate. Don't quote me.

Heavy use that realistically a Hard Drive would not experience in 10 years of consumer use. Ok.

What's your budget and what country?

No body heard anything bad about WD drives.

That's really not true, WD isn't some magical fault free company.
I know people, myself included who've had several WD HDDs die and refuse to buy another WD product.
