Any 4 Dimm DDR3 Z170 boards yet?

I love my 4x4gb 16gb of crucial ballistix tracer's.

I got them less than a year ago. But all im seeing from Z170 at the moment is DDR4 *Starts sobbing*

Has anyone seen a board yet with DDR3 on it????

With the video that linus did last year i DON'T want to upgrade to DDR4 as it's just a waste of money.

I want a casual meeting with an Elephant, Orangutan, Crow and a Bottlenose Dolphin.

You can still use your 4x4GB DDR3 memory on the new Z170 boards, if they are running at 1.35v or lower (Officially speaking. I'm sure you can push it to 1.4v or maybe even higher). In other words, you'll have to downclock/undervolt your current ram for the Z170 motherboard to work properly. I'm sure that some higher end LGA 1151 motherboards will have better support for higher voltage memory.

yeah my ballistix are 1.5V, I really do hope a specific DDR3 board comes out soon.

This is only true if the z170 board is designed to work with DDR3. DDR3 and DDR4 are physically incompatible, so each LGA1151 board will either support DDR3 or DDR4.

I may only be low-end boards that are DDR3 (just a guess) so OP may be stuck
