Alternative to the Hyper 212 Evo

I know everyone and their mom uses this cooler, but is there any alternative to this cooler at the same price point that puts up any kind of an argument performance wise? 

 

I'm hesitant to buying this cooler because I like to be different =P and I'm just curious if anyone found something better.

I think the be quiet! Shadow Rock lineup is about the same price.

The shadow rock looks like it has a lot more thermal capacity than the hyper 212

Well those do cost a bit more. The shadow rock slim for example is around $10-15 more than the 212 evo, with only slightly more performance. It does look nicer and have a quieter fan though.
