Project: Orange Titan

 

 

 The Orange Titan project is an orange and black themed build that Ive always wanted to do. My favorite color scheme is orange and black so this is pretty much my dream build......for now  :D . Please no negative comments, if you do not like it, or disagree with the parts i have chosen, then you don't have to look at it, simple as that. I chose to go with White LED strips because only white shows the true colors of your build. Colored LED's always tint the color of your build to the color of the LED's which i don't want

 

 

Parts Needed:

 

 

Case - Corsair Carbide Air 540 (Aquired) Mesh Grills are Painted Orange

 

CPU - Intel i7-4790K (Aquired)

 

Motherboard - Asus Z97 Sabertooth Mark 1 (Aquired) Not yet Painted. I will be painting the Thermal Armor orange

 

CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken x61 (Aquired)

 

Memory - 16GB G.Skill Sniper Series 2400MHz (Aquired)

 

Video Card - Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! (Aquired)

 

SSD 1 - Crucial M4 128GB OS Drive (Aquired)

 

SSD 2 - Samsung 840 EVO 500GB Gaming Drive (Aquired)

 

HDD - Western Digital Velociraptor 1TB Dump Drive (Aquired)

 

PSU - Seasonic X1050 1050W Full Modular (Aquired)

 

Cables - Ensourced Customs Custom Black/Orange Modular Cables (Aquired)

 

Fans - Be Quiet Silent Wings 2 140mm x4 (Aquired)

           Cougar Vortex VH14 x 2 (Aquired)

 

Filters - Demciflex Corsair Carbide Air 540 Full Filter Set (Aquired)

 

LED Strips - Darkside Dimmable LED Strip White (Aquired)

Admittedly I'm slightly more partial to Black and Copper, but yeah, I've been

wanting to do a black/orange build for a long time (basically ever since the Gigabyte

X58-OC came out). Ah well, one thing after another.

@Whiskers likes black/orange as well if I remember right. :D

Of course it is, but it's the principle, dammit. You could make the "GEFORCE GTX" light up orange too, then the reference cooler would fit and everything :P
