Not really. They are still good, just not very popular cuz of their price to performance.

Are they actually green LEDs, or are they white LEDs with green filter? Not that either is particularly difficult to mod, but one is easier than the other.

If you can get one cheap a Titan Black is still really good. A 780 Ti at stock is still equal to 980 at stock, more or less, but with more vram for all of the Shadow of Mordor 4K textures

That orange mesh looks really good, was thinking about painting mine white but idk how well I would make it look :(

The newer nVidia reference cards (like 980Ti) generally have green rubber insead of white with green paint. So you'll have to do a bit more research before attempting the mod.

The point is im not doing reference or any version of a Titan, end of conversation lol :D

Update: Just got done painting the Thermal Armor on the Sabertooth Motherboard. I also managed to contact be quiet! and they are shipping me out 2 sets of Orange Silent Base 800 grommets on monday, I really hope they will work with the Air 540.

Pictures of the Motherboard are coming tomorrow!

Contacted bequiet! and they sent me out orange grommets from the Silent Base 800 all the way from Germany for free, they fit great! check it out!

 

They look yellowish in the picture because of the camera flash
