You'll need another 980 for it to be smooth at 4k

It all looks good, other than the fact that 750W is overkill for one 980. I'd get a second one IF possible

The parts you've selected look pretty solid. EVGA makes good PSU's. There are places where you could shave off money but if all of this is within your budget it should turn out to be a pretty spiffy system. 4k, on the other hand, might be a stretch.

A single 980 is really not going to be enough for Crysis 3 on max.

Maybe with Gsync it's do-able.

You should really consider getting a stick of 8gb ram instead of 2x4....for future upgrade purposes. Everything looks good, cept you wont be flying colors in 4k with a single 980

Personally, I wouldn't be too concerned with 4k just yet. It's still not worth the money. Sure, it's objectively better but you have to ask yourself if it's $1000+ extra dollars better?

Grab a second 980.  Those games are extremely GPU heavy, and a single 980 won't cut it.

Dying Light Yes. (Might need Normal textures to prevent vram stutter)

Battlefield 4 yes with minor tweaks to lighting and effect quality to high instead of very high.

Crysis 3 is harder.  You can get a decent middle of the road experience, but not perfect.  40-50 FPS with mild tweaking, 60 FPS if you really bump things down.

BF4 was easily 60 FPS with minor tweaks, Dying Light was 60 FPS once I discovered vRAM was the issue and not the CPU.  Crysis 3 runs fairly well on a mix of med/high/very high settings.

At max settings on Crysis 3 my rig averages around 60fps at 1080p with a single overclocked 780 Ti. A single GTX should be around the same, slightly better if overclocked.

You don't need to play at max settings though. You'll be fine, even at 4K, as long as you're willing to turn down settings.

To answer your question, no. Maybe you can play on low or at best (which I doubt) medium settings in 4K.

You need at least another 980 to have a better experience in 4K. If you have the money to get 2 980, I recommend to get a Titan X instead. Just 1 Titan X should be able to run highest settings in 4K.

Crysis 3/Dying Light it will, but not at max settings.

BF4 should run smoothly at max/near max settings with no/low AA.

*smoothly = no/rare dips below around 50fps.
