Got a custom BIOS for my 970 G1 for OC purposes, and got it a 0% fan profile as well :D

Rapid starts and stops are bad for fan longevity.

Wouldn't change them to sit longer at 0rpm, you might burn the VRM's. They're quiet as it is, just keep them stock...

Considering the only time it ever goes above 40c for me while gaming, it's a guaranteed that the VRM gets cooled whenever I play games.  Desktop use doesn't stress the VRMs so I'm good there :D  It's either 40c or above 60c for my GPU, so it's cooled on both ends of the spectrum.

Don't VRMs depend on the voltage going through it?

You guys are no fun :/

It's silent idle, quiet under load and never reaches any particularly high temperatures. I literally don't have a reason to change it :P

You also didn't have a reason to post on a thread about CUSTOM fan curves ;)

Nowhere on your Thread Title or OP does it even mention the word "Custom"...

What kind of conflict? Mine doesn't.

I think it might be the reva tune osd that causes the issue but it completely crashes the game to desktop if I have MSI afterburner on

I just run them at stock.  It does a perfectly fine job of managing it.

Says custom on title for a reason ;)

And you don't even have a 970 wat

It's pretty much the same shit.

Here's what I had for a custom curve while overclocking:

It's a bit more aggressive because of SLI putting out a lot more heat on the top card.
