Twitch got hacked ?!?!?!?!

did anyone else get this email?? or am i the only one?

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

well it was a very generic email to everyone who has a twitch account, as a warning that they were hacked, and to change your password for safety.

 

 

when will they add 2 step hmmm?

Depending on the data they accessed from your account, the email will look a bit different... One of my accounts had a lot  of sensitive information ((partial) CC info, clear-text password, address, email, names, payment history, information about connected social networks... yuck.) leaked. But yes, they were indeed compromised. Heavily so.

i got the email half an hour ago.

amazon doesnt have 2 step either right?

just got that email. I'm betting that Twitch probably had a security hole all along, and Amazon just discovered it.
