Co-op games for long distance couple

MatazaNZ

Hi all,

I'm looking for some great co-op games, doesn't matter what they are, that I can play with my long distance partner when we have our weekly gaming day. We have a couple of games we can play for now, like Orcs Must Die 2 and Left 4 Dead 2, but I'm trying to find some others that are great to play. Even if it's just a game you can pick up and have a few hours of fun before giving up, I'd like to hear it. Any suggestions are welcome :D

Trove.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Borderlands franchise.

SpeedRunners, although not exactly a co-op game can be great fun for 2-4 players.

Trine/Trine 2

And definitely Portal 2

Killing Floor ( similar to l4d )

If she likes role playing Magicka, Diablo, The elder scrolls online, Archage, Guild wars,...

If she likes shooters, Bf3, bf2 project reality (tactical), Arma 3

If your down for some serious dungeons and dragons style role playing check out the divinity series. Divinity: Original Sin is about 2 source hunters (guy/girl) who can get up to anything from solving a murder, to helping a feline brother hook up with his lady friend. It's more of a long term game, but can be picked up and started again in small doses.

Wow, thanks for all the responses guys! I'll be sure to note these all down and give them a try. It sounds like people suggest Portal 1 and 2 enthusiastically so we'll give them a go, we do play Minecraft, and have rented a private server for the two of us, but I don't get too much enjoyment out of it anymore. Thank you all :D

borderlands, all of them are good but imo 2 is the best because it has the most you can do after completing the story line which is really awesome as well. right now you can get the GOTY for arround 10 euros on G2A

Awesomely enough, we both have Borderlands 2, she's just not able to run it terribly well
