Emotional Epiphany

PurplDrank

So right now i'm having some sort of emotional epiphanies. I should go back to school. The reason i'm not is because I dropped my classes from my fall semester last year due to a car accident, in that car accident I broke my leg.I was taking my pre-requirement classes to get into nursing school.  Currently at the moment i'm saying screw everyone and everything and focus on school. All my friends lately have been salty maybe because they are as stressed as I am. Idk I am just in a fuck it kind of mood.

Tell me your emotional epiphany's you've had, something you've come to the realization of. Maybe something you should change.

This world is sad.

I realized that I should stop being fucking depressed all the time and to enjoy life.

I have friends now and I'm actually doing something with my school life.

Also, I laugh a whole lot more for some reason.

Laughing helps me forget how sad this world is.

I use a type of meditation that allows me to shut out my conscious mind.

I go through the motions of every day life (I live 30 minutes from the closest traffic light and I work at home). I have very few social interactions (<5 face-to-face moments per day) and this causes extreme depression.

By using Dao of Letting Go, I am able to turn extremely difficult tasks (assuming I am capable of conquering them) into chores that I only have to consciously put time into. When the task is done, I cant tell if the process was a dream or reality (lucid dreamer here) and I quickly and consciously forget everything.

My emotions are limited to brief happenings and are forgotten, much like my process of achieving tasks.

It's kind of like a numb feeling induced over my long term memory.

The epiphany was when I realized that everything that happens (perceived by me) is controlled by my mind. "I dont like something? Don't worry about it, I changed it." "Physical pain? Not anymore!"

The world is a much easier place when you're watching everything go by.

317 is watching. 317 is everywhere. 317 is life.

Aren't you that guy who almost had a 3some? xD & had a post about it on the off topic section?

Here's a perspective from my point & this is dead serious. You haven't seen anything yet, Meaning that you will encounter much much & far more worse things from life & especially people, imo Stay strong get stronger, the rest of the world is always going to be against you & they will call it fair for their own pleasure. what you're doing is bold & strong keep getting stronger. emotional stress is just the tip of the iceberg like they say, All i can say is that 'you' can do it.

Details separate people.

As a student in an Engineering program, what the speaker at my invocation said is true. You can't go it alone. You need your friends.

Epiphany implies that in the end something"good"happens, right?

Well, that's not my case, then.  ;)

(In fact, I ended up falling in a short-lived but intense depression. )

But something that made a positive inpact in my life? Deciding not wanting to become an indie developer anymore(or any vidya-developer, for that matter). ^_^

I know how you feel. I have a great family, a beautiful girlfriend I love, and good friends. I shouldn't have anything to be sad about, but sometimes I just feel like crying and punch a wall at the same time. I just loose the meaning of life sometimes and it's really frustrating. I'm just like: What's the point? I'm not really taking school seriously either... I'm 19 and a half.
