Haswell-E Build (In progress)

Hello there guys ^^ so here is my build below wich currently is in progress :P (Any recommendations are totaly accepted ;) )

CPU : Intel i7 5930k                              (Will order soon)

Mobo : Asus x99-S                               (Will order soon)

Ram : Corsair LPX 16 GB 2666Mhz    (Will order soon)

Gpu : nVidia gtx 970 strix (Asus)         (Will order in the future)

Gpu : nVidia gtx 970 strix (Asus)         (Will order in the future)

Psu : EVGA 850G2 Gold certificated   (Received)

Case : Corsair Obsidian 750D             (Received)

Watercooling : Corsair H110                (Will order soon)

This is it for now :P

[Edit]

So  a lot of time has passed since i oppened this topic but i didn't exactly have the money yet to keep on with the build :/

Here are the changes

CPU : Intel i7 5920k                              (Will order soon)

Mobo : Asus x99-S                               (Will order soon)

Ram : Corsair LPX 16 GB 2666Mhz    (Will order soon)

Gpu : nVidia gtx 970 strix (Asus)         (Will order in the future)

Gpu : nVidia gtx 970 strix (Asus)         (Will order in the future)

Psu : EVGA 850G2 Gold certificated   (Received)

Case : Corsair Obsidian 750D             (Received)

Watercooling : Fractal Design S36      (Will order soon)

SSD : Samsung 850 Pro x2                 (Will order soon)

HDD : HGST Ultrastar 2TB                  (Will order soon)

So as you can see i changed the 5930k with the 5920k as the extra lanes don't look like impacting much when it comes to gpu performance.

Also i change my watercooling plan and kinda escaped the AIO .. kinda.

And i added the SSD/HDD that i forgot to put before :P

So i went with the s36 from fractal after seeing some pretty good reviews for not only good performance but also pretty silent desktop builds

and since i am not in the budget for building a full w/c setup i will start with this expanding it later with another rad and gpu blocks.

For those asking the purpose of this build, it is for music recording and video editing not for putting it in a museum :P we have a studio and we are preparing a youtube channel slowly :)

change that cooler with a swiftech h220x just because of the fanciness

The blood on to your heart start pumping faster when you notice me.

But is ok.

Judge me for my nickname, my avatar and for the low amounts of posts I have. I will keep your heart beat raised.

No, he's gonna place it in a museum.

If its in a museum why is he getting a 5930k?

a 5820k looks just the same.

you cant see it when it has a CPU cooler on top of it.

After your done, might want to weld the side panels shut cause you won't want the magic blue smoke that makes a computer work from escaping.

I suggest getting an SSD, and changing the CPU cooler to a Swiftech H220X. Other than that, it looks great.

In all seriousness, why a 5930k and not a 5820k?

The only reason I can think of is to run the two gpu x16x16 instead of x16x8. Not a great reason as I doubt GTX 970 could saturate PCIe 3.0 x8.

@CubiX,

+1 on the Swiftech H220-X. Or you may want to look into the new H240-X.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
