What case should I get?

Dubesta11

Topic after topic, I am getting nowhere. The case I originally wanted to upgrade to before everything else was a Corsair 450D:

26050_corsair%20obsidian%20450d%20review

Things I like about it:

- Looks great

- Includes good fans

- Has room for fan expansion

- Lightweight

- Windowed

- Clean front panel

- Dust filters where needed

- Bottom fan for my GPU rad

Things I don't really like about it:

- The price (120 not on sale)

- It lacks originality

So that's what I think of it. Some people say the front panel connectors are short, but I don't even use the H D audio, only the USB ports. The main and only drawback that I can think of is that its very expensive, since its nearly perfect for my needs. For less money, what is out there that's just as good, while being lightweight and looks good? I would like to spend no more than 80 dollars, and I can wait for a sale if necessary.

Fractal define R4? NZXT h440?

The most common result of insufficient wattage is a paperweight that looks like a PC

NZXT has some of that nice stuff you like. Phantom Series for exemple

Phanteks Enthoo Pro is a good alternative.

I'm that guy with the GPD Win.

The enthoo pro, or the luxe if you want to splurge a bit more. Great cases.

Enthoo Pro and the Midi R2 are both better and cheaper choices.

Some cases I like to recommend are:

the ARC midi R2, which has incredible features at a really good price,but does lack a little in the looks department.

The phanteks enthoo pro, which is great for being able to be completely taken apart and put back to get her without removing a single rivet, but the looks face the same issue as the arc.

The silverstone RV05, which has the pretty much the best air cooling performance out of any case, but has marmite looks and can be slightly limiting at times.

The NZXT H440, which is awesome for silence and water cooling, but doesn't fit the billing if you want a high airflow, super cool system.

@Dubesta11

air cooled/AIO or custom watercooled loop?

1 GPU or 2 GPUs?

what is the future of upgrades?

Mostly air cooling for the Air on my GPU. I shouldn't be upgrading it much after this. (yeah right)

@Dubesta11

i found best money for a proper case for your situation is the fractal design arc midi r2.

great airflow, room for HDD/SSD and graphics card, fine cable management and not

over-the-top expensive. yet, small enough to not take up a lot of area.
