Halo 2 PC Servers Are Back! Trying to say something Microsoft?

SOOOOOOO... i went to play the halo 2 campaign today and saw and the game logged me in to gfwl (which is weird because before it just said it couldn't connect to the server) So i decided to investigate a little more to see if something had changed in regards to the servers being up, AND.... The servers are up and running again!

 

Is Microsoft trying to say something? Halo 2 anniversary PC anybody (i know they said no but maybe they're lying like Luke said)

I hope. Just ignore me slamming my keyboard and screaming at my monitor for Microsoft to release Halo on the PC.

Master Chief Collection please :) I bought an Xbox One controller so at least I'm buying something of a system lol

They said Fable Anniversary was supposed to be Xbox exclusive and now it's on Steam so i'm sure it's a possibility they'll release Halo 2 Anniversary on PC. :)

Do I expect it? Unfortunately, no. Will I kick and scream about it? You bet your ass I will.

There have been servers up for the last month or so, at least. Unfortunately it's 95% MLG FFA and Coag/Blood Gulch CTF. There isn't much variety right now.

Actually, yes I do. Of course I don't expect it at the same time of release, hell not even the same year. But in a year or two, I can definitely see Microsoft releasing the MCC collection on PC.

 

If you asked anyone a year ago about Dead Rising 3 coming to PC, they would laugh in your face, same thing with Ryse and many more. They will milk Halo for all it's worth for the next couple years, but when there's little to no margins left, they will announce Halo MCC for PC, or they'd be stupid otherwise.

Yeah, but Dead rising 2 was on PC only a couple of years ago and Ryse is hardly a flagship title that sold consoles. I haven't seen the many more Xbox exclusives making their way to PC... because they don't really exist.

MS needs a unique title to move Xboxes, and frankly, Halo is the only thing they have.

So we may see Halo, once it's ruined and forgotten by most. If it's still popular, we won't see it anywhere near the PC.

The problem is that getting Halo 2 to run on PC is a bitch.

If they ever actually did release it for PC it might actually show that they care about the large user base there is for their platform.
