If you had to choose

If you had to choose between this:

61-6VCKOWVL._SX522_.jpg

or this:

5160WgSl2HL._SX522_.jpg

they are both priced the same, but the question is which one would be more comfortable for every day use such as programming and gaming.

here are the respective amazon pages for both the chairs(translated to english)

chair 1: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.de%2FPremium-Sportsitz-Chefsessel-B%25C3%25BCrostuhl-59801%2Fdp%2FB009NQ6STY%2Fref%3Dsr_1_3%3Fs%3Dkitchen%26ie%3DUTF8%26qid%3D1408794287%26sr%3D1-3%26keywords%3DPremium%2BSportsitz%2BChefsessel%2BB%25C3%25BCrostuhl&hl=en&langpair=auto|en&tbb=1&ie=UTF-8

chair 2: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.de%2FTecTake-Chefsessel-B%25C3%25BCrostuhl-hochwertiger-Polsterung%2Fdp%2FB006TWUIZK%2Fref%3Dpd_sim_k_10%3Fie%3DUTF8%26refRID%3D07FDJMXCR4QJ1F4QY9MZ&hl=en&langpair=auto|en&tbb=1&ie=UTF-8

thanks

EDIT:

I sat in both in some large store, they are both uncomfortable for a tall skinny dude... (my shoulders are too wide for the first one and the second feels like sitting on those amazon air packaging things).

So my quest for the perfect chair continues, I'll update this post when i find one

Both seem a little meh and you should wait for a slightly higher price point imo, but I'd go with the second one considering they're quite cheap.

I love StarCraft

I don't have 350 to spend on a chair, 200 max.

The second one between the two. Those racing chair looking seats on the low end are too cheap quality wise to even consider.

As far as gaming, you sit on the front edge of the chair so it don't matter.

Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education...

The chair you use won't impact how good you are at gaming no matter how much Alienware and DXRacer want you to believe that.

I know but those things lay back 170 degrees and come with a pillow so you can take a nap. They are so nice look at all the other features

i would definitely go with chair 2, no question about it, chair 1 might possibly be more comfortable, it's very hard to tell from a picture.. it might follow your back better, but if it doesn't it's better with the cushioning of chair 2, it seems like a gamble while chair 2 is probably a safer bet aswell as looking alot nicer in my opinion, chairs are a very personal preference kinda thing, i wouldn't buy one without sitting in it first.

I agree that purchasing something you sit in all day, without actually sitting in it first is a no-no. Also, both chairs have very curved arm rests, and I'm not sure how I would like that IRL. I do like the look of #2 better.

By the way tobben, your profile pic always throws me off because the colors are so similar to my desktop background picture I took from my patio a few years ago lol. :)

I'd suggest Chair #2, it looks like it'll last long and provide the most comfort for sitting in it for long periods of time.

They both have same S shape, only the arm support is different a little but I would go with the top one, looks better and seems that it can heigh adjust higher. Also its 4e cheaper. So winner. And Thank you ! because I need a new chair under £100 and this are brilliant choices.

Edit:
Found it on UK amazon (I hate this country so much for its stupid prices !)
  £40 more than in Germany. There are variants of this chair with different finish but the point is the price...

haha, sorry but i have a very strong policy about not changing profile pictures :P, you seem to have good taste just like me!, considering a Chair is something we use ALOT, every day for as long as possible, yah, it's kinda important.

EDIT: quoting seems to have been utterly broken when i was trying to post a few comments earlier today..

Being more comfortable especially after a long period of time and a chair giving correct posture will have an effect on your performance however big ro small
