[Finished] The Renewal - 1080mm rad, 6700k, Z170 Asrock OC Formula, 980 Ti Matrix

Lays

I know, it's really nice.  I think for some reason he took a picture of the sleeving under blacklight, because it looks like it's glowing. (The yellow is UV)

I HOPE my sleeving shows up friday, but it may not be til next week.

I think he did that just to show you. You can tell it's glowing because of the glow on the white under the cables. It does look really sexy though.

I hope for your sake it shows up Friday as well I nearly drove myself insane waiting for parts, watching the tracker and the estimated time etc I was refreshing that page every 2 mins shouting at it.

Another update, I bought my 290x lightning. It should be here next week.

Woohoo, things are coming together! I'm impressed at how nice the 212 evo looks with the Corsair fans, i'm impressed.

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Just got through spending 1 hour on the phone with PayPal, someone I sold something to hasn't receive their item and he started a claim to refund the money.  Tracking number says it's in Customs (canda) and that it was approved 1 week ago, but still sitting in customs.

He's blaming everything on me saying I didn't put the right address, or fill out forms correctly, but refuses to call customs and ask them what's going on.

I printed the label via his paypal payment, so the address is EXACTLY what he put on his profile, I filled out the customs form perfectly because they were all read and stamped by the USPS guy that I dropped the package off with.

I have told him 5+ times to call them and he refuses to do anything on his part and demands a refund.

The lady I talked to on the phone said I had done everything I needed to do, and that it wasn't my fault he hadn't received it and that he should call customs and canada post office and figure out what's going on, but he refuses to.

Hopefully it wasn't expensive. Most likely you'll lose the item and your money PayPal always sides with the buyers.

$420

The lady I talked to on the phone said there's no reason he should win because it's not my fault, nor paypal's. She continued to say there was no reason they'd refund him when it's still in shipping.

Hopefully you got a signature confirmation because anything over $250 needs one. It's absolutley brutal and one big reason why I hate PayPal.

@Lays you should umm custom design your name/build logo to go on 1 of the pci-e expansion brackets, just a random thought.

Make it like silver with a black etch or with yellow if you'd prefer that.

Plz don't use cable combs or clips...

:(

They ruin the look of the nice cables. Sew them instead, or bend them into position so they hold themselves in place without needing any sewing.

If I'm not mistaken, cable combs are generally used for a while to 'train' the cables. That's what I would use them for anyways, train the cables for a few weeks and then take them off. :)

I don't like the look of sewing them, you can clearly see the "thread" just as easily as cable combs, the cable combs I'm using will most likely be on the other side of the gromets, so they won't be visible.

I just got tracking info from Mike, (the guy I bought the 290x lightning from)

It will arrive Friday.  (Although it may be sooner, as it's already in TN.)

My cables will be here Monday - Friday, I have no tracking number but that's when they should arrive.

I also ordered a dominator platinum light bar kit, it will be here on Monday.

As for watercooling, not entirely sure what's going to happen with this paypal bullcrap, so that's on hold.

Cables showed up, the yellow on his website is COMPLETELY different than the yellow in person. (I have an IPS 1440p monitor that has great colors as well, so it's obviously bad pictures on his website)

The 15 inch 24 pin I ordered, because of EVGA's stupid design of the 28 pin cable on the PSU, into 24 pin on the motherboard, wires have to be spliced 2 into 1 a few times, and because of this, the wires are a tiny bit "less forgiving" when trying to be bent, so the 15 inch cable that WOULD of worked, does not work.  I need it to be like ~17 inches instead, but I will re-order a 20 inch.

Soooooooo I've gotta contact icemodz, and get them shipped back, with re-colored yellow + longer 24 pin.

Hopefully I don't have to spend another $135 to get this crap fixed, or I'll be pissed as fk.
