I was going to go for an orange and white theme, but I don't know what made me switch, I
don't regret anything, but both of those options would/are really good colour choices. 

 

Case choice is also 8/10 because of lack rubber grommets.

The choice of parts is really strange.

Relatively expensive storage, ram, heatsink, processor, optical drive, and motherboard.... and then onboard graphics.

It's a general purpose plus graphics machine. Almost everything but games really. Right now I'm saving for a new card but I'm not in a hurry because of the 4K thingy happening. I'm not convinced that the current offerings nail really what is required. I figure by next year it'll have shaken itself out and what you really need to reliably run 4K monitors will be available.

 

It's also the fact that I had to cut corners somewhere and it became the obvious spot to save some bucks without sacrificing too much performance or replacing a perfectly fine but underspec part down the line.
