Contest! OnePlus One Invite to give

So here's the deal. I won the storm of invites contest (well my girlfriend did) a few weeks back and they promised me 5 invites to share by the end of the month. These shareable invites are starting to roll out this week so I should be getting them soon. The problem is they are only valid for 24-72 hours (no official word on length of time yet) before they expire. So I'm preemptively going to be giving them away so that there is less risk of them expiring before I get them out to people. I will send the invite out to the winner as soon as I get it. A few have been promised to some co-workers/friends and I'll be giving one away on the OnePlus One forums (I'm member #3349), the final one will be on here (Since I frequent this forum daily even though I don't always post).

 

If you really want this phone and will purchase it as soon as I give out the invite, then please leave a comment and give me a really solid reason why you think you deserve an invite from me. I'll pick my opinion of the best response over the next few days (In the event I get them on Monday, I'll choose then).

i think i deserve it because my phone is still a old nokia....so i turned 16 last year and this summer im finally working for the first time  i have the money to buy a smartphone

I found this post mostly by accident, so the fact that I made an account just for this will probably guarantee me not getting it or something, idk. Regardless I have been stuck with the old Droid Razr, not the good one like the maxx, Im talking to the other one with the battery that lasts about 3 hours if youre lucky and you leave it in airplane mode the entire time. Im mostly at the end of the line here trying to get an invite, but I figured this post wouldnt hurt. The worst part is the that early supporter giveaway they were doing completely screwed me over. I registered for the site back on April 23rd (I can actually send you pics of the confirmation email if you dont believe me) but because I didnt use the forums until later, I wound up being like member 89300 or some number close to that. So even though I should have been around maybe 5k-6k in joining, I ended up near the bottom. Oh well, congrats on having the invites and getting the phone. Its a pretty sweet piece of technology haha.

I want it! I knew about the oneplus one 5 months ago so I was waiting and entering to the contest but I just registered in the forum because I didn't knew that I needed to register to get one, I only submitted to the newsletter so I will not recieve the invite fast

I live in Mexico and oneplus can't send there but I will go to USA the next week for 10 days so I would want to buy it now to get it when I'm there...

I am a well-recognized Xbox 360 developer looking for a OnePlus One. For the past 5 years, I have been trying to get into Android programming and move away from the childish Xbox scene (for the most part). For some reason, I have been really struggling and looking for some sort of motivation. Personally, I believe it is due to my locked down/old hardware, but maybe it is just because Android development wasn't meant for me. I have a feeling that the OnePlus One is exactly what I need to jump start my developing, as I already have extensive knowledge in C as well as Java. Maybe I just sound crazy, but I really think this is exactly what I need. I would really appreciate if you were to give me this invite, and you would also have the knowledge that you helped inspire a student into becoming a prestigious Android developer. I would like the invite, for the sole purpose of not being for my own use but my fathers. Hes currently using a quite old phone s2, which to some people might be considered not that old. But old dear this phone has been through allot. The phone at the current state has many problems one being that the battery is screwed up, the camera is messed up and don't seem to work all of the time. If I were to get this invite I would give it to my father and make him buy the phone, so It could be used more frequently compared to what he has now. Since during the more important times, of when a phone is necessary, he phone usually doesn't last during that time.

I found out about the one plus one for a few months back I did not realize I had to be a forum member to be in the wait list for invites, if I had created an account as soon as I saw this perfect phone I would have received my invite already! I feel kind of cheated because of this but I have been actively trying to find and invite with no luck so far but I keep my hopes up =) Also I am subscribed to linustechtips on youtube and I love your videos!

Being a student I don't have that much cash available to spend on things, but since the One is <£300 I can afford to buy it as an upgrade over my current phone.

My current phone is my brother-in laws old htc, the battery is pretty terrible and the screen seems to be dying so I could really use a replacement that will last me the next 3+ years.

 

I could give you back an invite assuming I get one after ordering if you want, or give it to someone here. (not entirely sure how the invites are given though tbh)

I'm rocking a Nokia 625 and it probably has to be the worst device known to man... I cant even rely on the alarm clock to go off because the phone shuts itself off at night randomly, super awesome.

I don't have a great sob story for you. I am just entering every giveaway I can find in hopes of getting this phone I am looking to upgrade from my old phone to something new and shiny and give it to my little sister who recently decided to take hers for a swim.

I am using the galaxy s2 for about 3 years now. Since my phone contract ended more then a year ago I want to buy a new phone and promised my mother the s2.

She is still waiting for it and is now even using my Whatsapp to communicate with her friend and family.
