Should I do it? 2x Dell P2314?

Real_PhillBert

So as the title says, should I do it? I will be very near a Microcenter on Saturday morning for Easter, so I am considering swinging in and picking up a pair of P2314h monitors. Their website says they have 10+ in stock so I am not all that worried about getting my hands on a pair.

I will use them for about 50% gaming and 50% CAD and engineering analysis. I am not a progamer and would rather have nicer colors than 1ms response times.

EDIT: So I ended up buying two of them.

I'm lazy as hell, and doing homework. A link to the monitor product page dear sir?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

a high response time for gaming, but you don't need it for that.

I don't know much about monitors, but for what you say you are going to use it form it looks good.

Take my opinion with AT LEAST (1) Kilo of salt. Reasons why are stated above.

Its cool. I would also like to look at a ASUS PB238Q but that model has been discontinued and now ASUS doesnt really have a comparable model. I want IPS (PLS is fine too) 1920x1080, hight adjustment, and vesa mount for future use.

Maybe a 29" instead of two monitors, there is no bezel which is nice for alot of things, and the AOC version is kinda cheap.

So I bought two Dell P2314h monitors Saturday morning. I haven't been back to my place yet to set them up, but I will do that tonight. Maybe I will post a pic of them on my desk if I am not feeling too lazy.

Thanks all for the advice and input.
