It looks as though they're removing the glass top and bottom, or giving them a curve. It'll definitely feel better in the hand since it's bigger. Otherwise it would cut into the palm. I really hope they don't make it anodized, I feel that aesthetic is getting old. There's one thing that I do know, it'll be pretty.

There's a lot of work that goes into making those cases for phones(I've worked with a major supplier in China) so I wouldn't be surprised if those are actual mockups.  It looks like a smaller ipad air which I think everyone who owns apple products expected.
