The benefit of the app I can think of is when you're on the go without your PC and if you're gaming, you don't need to alt-tab all the time to check notifications

The reason is to tell people that it exists and if they really want it they can make it themselves & stop asking for one.

As I have heard it, anyone is free to make an LTT Forum app if they want too, there have been three or so attempts that have all failed

Yeah but if you spam my github enough times, people will just realize there is an app & realize they are the only thing standing in their way and give up or someone will be inspired and actually work off my foundation. 

 

It's like asking your parents for a new car. "Oh you want a new car? Why don't you go out and buy it with your own money you are perfectly capable of earning?"
