It is "VR ready" but just barely. I'd get at minimum a GTX 1070 if you don't want VR to look like crap.

A 6GB 1060 runs high setting VR almost flawlessly

Maybe it does, but the experience will be far better with a 1070.

Well its definitely going to have better performance with the better card, but also definitely don't need it
