Mined 1080 Ti for C$600

I've been parousing my local Craigslist for the past few weeks on the lookout for used graphics cards and stumbled across this one today.

Two Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti for C$600 each with original boxes and receipt. All the other 1080 Tis seem to be going for around C$750+ where I am. Assuming that this guy is telling the truth about the mining conditions (never overclocked and under 65 degrees), it seems like a good deal. Though, a 1080 ti is a tad overkill for what I want to do, it's hard to pass up at $600.

 

My dilemma is whether I should consider this card or look at one of the 1080s that are selling for around C$450-500 used. Thoughts? Is this is reasonable price for a mined 1080 Ti?

As a 1080ti user, i feel as though i have absolutely no reason to even look at the RTX lineup for this year, or for years to come. very happy little gamer.

Lololololol he's from Surrey, British Columbia, just outside of Vancouver.

 

But yeah sticking to 1080Ti is a good option, I think RTX isn't worth it right now.

$600 is an okay deal, I myself have been looking at getting a second 1080Ti and here in Alberta, they can be found for $500ish easily. But if you can't find a better deal in Vancouver then go for it.

imo if you don't need it, then pick up a 1080. If the time comes in the next couple of years where you do need that extra computing power then im sure youll be able to get a 1080 ti, 2080 or whatever the next gen cards will be at a much better price.

go for it my dude its worth it, I got the same card from a guy that mined with it for 6month and got a super dweal on it and it works perfect
