1080 performs terribly on Overwatch in 4k?

Hi there, just received my 4k monitor, running e5 2670, 32gb ddr3, 480gb ssd and gtx 1080. When rendering at 100% Overwatch full setting, when battling with a bunch of other people, frame rate drops to unplayable. when 200% render scale at full settings, frame rate is only 17-18. When rendering 100%, frame rate is 60-70 until fighting against a bunch of other people. How to make this better without jeopardizing quality of graphics>

because thats a resolution of 7680x4320. 2160p is already demanding

Set Render Scale to 100% and try overclocking that CPU, try to get at least 3.3ghz or higher and see. BTW, for 4K gaming, even the GTX 1080 would struggle somewhat with an i7 6700K @4GHz....so, I'd say most of the issue lies with your CPU if it's not overclocked.

well right now i'ts running full 70 fps at all ultra full settings on 4k render scale 100 with absolutely no hiccups... i guess closing chrome video playbacks helped
