apparently the h110 doesnt fit in the air 540

To be quite honest with you it may not say it does with case capability on the corsair site under h110 .

But it does ,the case has pre cut holes for 2x 140mm fans .ive seen others use this cooler with not a single issue

for installation .

The only thing i wish was a bit better with the case design among some others is that it was a bit taller so i could install push pull configs.

But ,with all that said it does fit quite nice & easly - Just not listed ,witch is a shame .

Im sure many other people have thought crap it's not listed all well ill go with the H100 .

don't know if it's true but apparently if you install the H110 in push config (rad mounted to case fans underneath them) the tubing is to short to route them to the front side of the case and if you route it to the back a 140 fan is in the way.

If you install it in pull config (fans on top rad underneath) it does fit. thats why it's not listed as compatible. As i said don't know if this is true but it sounds plausible.
