Best microphone for video production?

See if you can find an AT2020 it is much better than either of those.

I'm looking into a new microphone to buy and only a few caught my eye that were in my budget range ($100 ish)  The blue snowball and Zoom H1, which one is better, do you have a better suggestion?

Zoom H1 has a slight advantage on audio quality, although the Snowball is still a great all round mic (use one myself).

Are you in the US? In that case you should be able to get a Blue Yeti for that price :) Which is better then both of those ;)
