You can't without first moving the G: and D partitions, and how one would do that I'm not completely sure.

Indeed. You can't merge unallocated spaces that have partitions with data between them. You need to move partitions around with software like GParted (linux live CD/USB) or partedmagic.

Perform a backup first of all important data, as the risk exists that your disk will become unreadable in the process, requiring a full reformat.

Download MiniTool Partition Wizard.

1. Resize H, G and D partitions as much as possible without moving them.

2. Join partitions together if you want.

Or if you want to keep partitions and only use unpartitioned space:

1. Move H, G and D partition then you'll have unallocated space at the end of drive.

This operation need some time to complete.

Do you need to buy the software?

Small advice - do not use partitions if you don't must. It divide your drive to small parts and every time you want to move file from one partition to another, it takes much longer than just move it from one directory to another.

There are only few reasons when partitions has sense:

1. You want to install Windows and have possibility to image your system (backup) - then you don't want to image 2TB (for example); also it will be much easier in the future to clone small partition to SSD.

2. If you want to speed up loading of some games and place them at the beginning of your drive - then creating 500GB partition at the beginning of 4TB drive (for example) creates faster partition.

3. If you want to create some encrypted, hidden space.

Disk Managemen tool requires you to delete the partition when you merge partitions with it... Yes it will lead to data loss so do a back up of what matters to you and then delete the non-adjacent partitions so that you can merge them:

-Right-click on one target partition and select "Delete Volume"

-After the deletion, right-click the other target partition and choose "Extend Volume".

-Follow the Extend Volume wizard to merge your partitions as a one.

Personally, it's difficult to merge the unallocated space using Windows Disk Management. But you can try a third party partition tool, such as minitool partition tool, easeus partition master, etc. Normally, the Free versions would fix your issue. For example, in MiniTool Partition tool, you can right click partition G, and the Move/Resize feature can help you change the location between this partition and the unallocated space.

Disk management is limited in many thing, yes! A third party software can be very helpful with this kind of things without having to delete partitions and so on...
