Destroying my fathers network restrictions

Ok so the current situation my internet is blocked by the router by mac and I’m pretty sure it stops sending packets to my machine when blocked. I know I can switch Mac adreess to avoid the restriction but then 2 version of my laptop will pop up on the device list. Im wondering if I were to switch my MAC address to the same as my phone which isn’t blocked, could I avoid my pc popping up as a second entity and hide behind my phone.
