Windows 10 keeps powering on after shutdown

Hey guys I do apologize for my bad spelling and grammar and any other errors in my spelling in advance.

 

So I keep shutting down my prebuilt windows 10 pro 64-bit and when it shuts down my computer turns back on and is 100% certain I told my Computer to shut down because right before it shuts down it says its shutting down and it restarts again and I didnt say restart and What i have been doing is before it powers back on I just shut it off with my Power Supply and I Dont think Thats a good Idea anymore and I know 100% of the time its a Windows thing because it very rarely happens in linux I have the Gigabyte 970A-D3 16 gigs of ram and AMD FX 8350 gtx 660Ti 3 GB SSD and 650 watt psu and I will show you guys picture of my Power management to my bios and Thanks again for all the help

Also a FX 8350 user, had the same issue. It's a combo of fastboot and auto-restart after system failure.

 

1) Advanced system settings > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery > System failure. Uncheck the Automatically restart box. Click Apply / OK and Exit.

 

2) Open Power Options > Change what the power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable > Disable Turn on fast start-up

 

3) Restart to test

FX 8350 is doing alright in 2018.

Only if you're brave enough to OC or have an equally old GPU though, it'll bottleneck a 1050ti if you keep it the stock 4Ghz.

 

Bump it upto 4.6Ghz and it's fine running a 1060 6GB.

I did everything except Apply because its grayed out Unfortunately it still is happening and IDK if its a service that's doing it or if its because its the system properties Apply button is grayed out IDK any anther suggestions

Is your windows activated? Some Windows settings can't be changed when it's not.

No its not I had to clean out my computer and reseated my hardware.
