Help with desk organisation

Stentorian

MY ISSUE IS SOLVED NOW!

I am a bit of a freak when it comes to keeping things organised and neat. Any my desk is the thing I like most to be nice and tidy. The only downside is I don't have that much room to organize my desk that much. That's why I am coming here and asking for the LTT Community's help. Any suggestions please leave below. Any feedback is also welcome. Here you can find images of my setup and places around my setup for storage of certain things. I am hopefully planning in the future to have a second monitor on my desk for my laptop for easier use of my laptop than having it on my lap.

I can only imagine one way, and it's going for something like this:

You have no real space so... It's the only way I think$_86.JPG

That is an amazing use of space! I would've never thought of that if I had a bunkbed. I kinda wish I had a vertical PC then I could put it beside my desk and allow more room on my desk for a second monitor

you can put your PC vertically with any consequence

you could also get some ultrawide monitor instead of two small monitors, for $300 you will get some 34" LG ultrawide

and install some slide table for the keyboard and mouse (if your desk is too low, you could get some wood of the same size and lift the whole table)

computer-desk-keyboard-slide-modern-indu

I don't think that would work with my type of style. Thanks for the suggestions though!

Extensions/long cords.

I'd just amazon a long USB cable a and a cheap hub as well as a long 3.5mm m-f cable, and finally a long vga/hdmi whatever you use for that monitor. You can then put the pc under your bed.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

When space is at a premium, wall mounting the PC could be an option. For the photos you've provided, I would try standing the PC up, put it against the wall and point the front to the bed. That would allow you to have more room for the monitor and mouse movement.

Oh and "TP" stands for Toilet Paper....

There's no place like ~

Horizonal surfaces are the bane of my existence. Less there are the less places to put stuff the less I have to see clutter.

Be sure to @Pickles von Brine if you want me to see your reply!

Late to the party, but you could get an arm to mount the small monitor to. Then you could stand the PC up and that'd save loads of space

I have a pair of widescreens and the stands were massive. They're now mounted on a monitor arm which takes up literally no space, the monitors float and I have all the space underneath them back for storage.
