Flame-bait.

What makes you think that Linux and macOS don't have their issues?

Well, that probably because Linux and macOS users don't say "reinstall system" every problem they found. :)

Aww jeeze, did we brick your device through an update or secretly throttle your device's performance due to poor battery life suspiciously around the same time of the launch of the new generation of products? I guess you're just going to have to buy your iOS device from someone else then... Oh, there's no-one else? Jeeze that's too bad.

You're just going to have to buy our new iPhone Xs Max for USD$1449 + $14.99/month over a period of 24 months for our AppleCare + Theft Protection package.

Hey Steve, this person wants to listen to music on their new phone, do we have any of those new iPhone Xs with the 3.5mm audio jack?
Nah, we took that out. You now need to use a dongle to adapt the Lightning port to a 3.5mm port.
Oh that's right. Does that come included with the phone?
Nah, you need to buy the dongle separately for $9.
Aww jeeze, that's such a hassle. I bet that's really bummed you out, huh?

To be fair if you have the money for the XS, $9 is nothing, neither is $14.99 but who actually gets AppleCare.

Yep, because there's nothing like paying $500 for back glass repair.

Here’s a tip:

its an expensive machine, so treat it appropriately. Get a case, get a screen protector, be careful with it.
