In all seriousness never played TW games b4. Heard this 1 was all buggy. Thats why I opted out of it during the steam sales. But angryjoe said it was good. Will love the free version though.

I'm having a lot of fun with shogun 2 atm, especially the co-op (find myself being back stabbed too often in solo, damn you takeda :P). I suggest you pick it up if you like the look of Rome ii

Rome 2 definately is buggier than the other ones, but then again its also trying to do more than the previous ones.
