but I hate it for typing its just one of those things you have to get used too.

Its probably the best switch for gaming period.

Cherry MX Black? Interesting. I've heard its a pretty hard key too press so like literally noone likes them; haven't heard a good thing about them. I've never even tried em though I guess its whatever floats your boat.

I have never even heard of the brand "Roccat" despite being familar with a large number of keyboard switch brands. Perhaps I shall try it.

Aye. I, for example, hate Blue's with a passion.

It's a nice switch, similar to a brown but a little better, and is compatible with low profile keys, which is the huge draw for me. They make pretty nice mice, so I'm sure their keyboards are of equal quality; it's gotten superb reviews.

Damn.

I personally use a IBM Model M bolt modded with new PBT keycaps I installed and I restorted it complety made it to the best of its ability; spent like 4 weeks on it alone!

I like blues because they don't cause strain to my hands over long periods of time and there nice to type on, I hate em for gaming though, I like heavy switches for gaming and light stuff for typing. I don't really game that much anymore ( I do just not as often I did once before ) usally I spend my time programming or video editing, 3d modeling, and photshop which requires alot of macros ( well is nice to have alot of macros when your doing that stuff ) and also probably would be nice to have a nice typing experience and the model m has a couple extra keys so I use this program called "AutoHotKey" and it works like a charm so I can convert any extra unused key unto a macro which Is fucking awesome.

It was hard transitioning to any other keyboard from my Logitech G19 because there was SO many macros and all these bells and whistles and fancy stuff. That program "AutoHotKeys" practically saved my life. I was getting jealous of all those other dudes with there cool mechanical keyboards.  Its a shame, logitech g19 was an awesome keyboard, more io than my phone, a lcd screen for fucks sake, media controls as well as a volume wheel, the greatest layout known to man, some other cool stuff. It actually required a power supply lol. But...

it was membrane

Nice, it's always good to have a custom project come through! I just can't stand the sound of the blue switches. Drives me insane. Had a K70 MX Blue keyboard, used it for 5 minutes, threw it on my bed and sold it a couple days later. Also was disappointed with the build quality.

I have a crap ton of keyboards; my main keyboards are a Ibm model m custom bolt modded and new pbt keycaps, Ortek MCK-142Pro programmable keyboard ( Alps SKCM Orange ), Wey Tec MK06 modular keyboard ( Cherry MX Clear ),IBM 5251 ( Beamspring ), Logitech g19 and thats just to name off my head. I have like lol 16 more keyboards. Some times I have two of the same keyboards and I just install two different switches inside each one of them.

Topre.

Good feeling of O N E N E S S with cup rubber. In all seriousness, I really like the upstroke speed which lets me type faster and with less effort. Sounds great too.

The Alps SKCM Blues are basically mechanical topres except they sound really nice. There really hard to look for and there one of my favorite switches.
