who uses print screen sniping tool is a lot better

Situationally better. Neither work very well. Print screen sucks because it captures all 3 monitors of mine. Snipping tool sucks because I can't capture full screen games very well.

Control + P (Ctrl and F2: Select Print Preview command) or create your own shortcut key sequence like Control + Alt + P?

Microsoft is actually working on a Windows store app called Screen Sketch but you need to join the Windows Insider program

Use this <snip>

These are quite old articles and they both say tested on Win7? Also, there is no download for your first "this"... :P at

https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/free-clipboard-manager-automatically-save-clipboard-items-screenshots/

I came across the Screen Sketch app as I wanted to grab a larger image file than the one from either right-clicking on the image and pasting into Paint or the Windows Snippy tool. In the end, I downloaded ShareX from the Microsoft store. But am about to try Save.me which I found on maketecheasier.

Link:

ShareX 12.2 Microsoft Store build

Save.me

maketecheasier.com

Update:

The Save.me program is nothing like a Print Screen button, however, it does grab a very good *.HTML complete and save it in a kind of archive. Nothing you could not do for yourself or with an online service like Evernote web clipper but it adds a local machine UI to the process. It is not always running so you need to instigate the program before the clipboard becomes available.

For what I wanted to do which is to grab a screenshot the ShareX is better although it lacks the larger file saving function and sometimes its operational function box is captured.

ShareX comparison 103KB *.PNG

ShareX comparision 103KB

Snipping tool 99KB *.PNG
