What's the fastest way to trim video?

When I record TV shows on my PC I usually use FFmpeg to trim up my videos at the beginning and ends without re-encoding.

The only problem is, it's very time consuming typing it all up in the CMD. (See my working below)

F: (To navigate to my media drive)

cd F:\Media\TV Shows\Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures\Season 03

ffmpeg -i "Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures S03E03.ts" -ss 00:01:15 -to 00:32:42 -c copy "Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures S03E03 (Trimmed).mp4"

Are there any similar alternatives? Or something like a Media Player Classic or VLC extension?

First of all I commend you for watching Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures.

Within windows 10 itself you can easily trim videos using video editor on the fly.

I know. I need to update this. And I will. Eventually.

Haha! Call me crazy, but I got most of them on my Plex server.

I'll try that with the video editor, do you know if it re-encodes it?

It does NOT re-encode.

If you don't mind what's your setup?

*Off the top of my head*

My gaming rig, built in 2013, and then slowly updated over time.

CPU: i7-4770k

MOBO: ASUS Z87

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance

PSU: Hytec 950watt

HDD: 3TB WD

SSD: 250GB Samsung

CASE: Corsair Carbide 500R

GPU: GTX1080Ti

And my overkill Plex server built in November last year.

CPU: RYZEN 5 1500X

MOBO: ASROCK AB350

RAM: Don't remember, probably 8GB Corsair something...

PSU: SeaSonic 550watt from my gaming rig

HDD: 1TB WD

EHDD: 4TB WD

SSD: M.2 250GB

CASE: ThermalTake Core V1

GPU: Old GTX780 from my gaming rig

Sweet!

You could probably do some light gaming on your plex server too lol

Yeah, I wasn't going to put a GPU in it, but I didn't realize that Ryzen requires a GPU to get a video output, and besides, I had 3 780's lying around...

Well and actually I was going to use the server for some light gaming with a controller hooked up to my 100" projector. Definitively beats console gaming.
