Will my PC work without a EPU?

I recently bought an ASUS H110M-k off of eBay (which in the description said it was working fine), but amongst arrival, I noticed that the EPU socket was empty. I was wondering if this will cause any issues for the PC.

Not sure what you mean. Can you post a photo of what you're referring to?

That's the CMOS battery slot, without a battery and power it will just keep resetting the bios.

The batteries are normally CR 2032 so should be able to replace it fairly cheaply.

It's for the cmos battery. It's not strictly necessary but edits to the bios settings won't be saved without it.
