Help with buying 4K TV

Hello LinusTechTips community,

 

I want to buy 4K TV mostly just for watching, and MAYBE some gaming on it. I have my eyes on this one https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/ee39ee1

Here in my country it costs about 450 euros and that is the price range i will go, maybe i will put some extra if it is really better.

Could you guys give me any suggestion if it is good TV for the price (maybe someone has experience with it and has story to tell :)), and which other 4K TV would be better or equal for that price range.

If you're getting a Samsung TV, I'd look no less than something from 7000 series. These are the newer versions AFAIK:

I have MU6100 and it's very good, however there is new series (7000), I would check that one if you're buying it now. But again, you won't go wrong with 6000 series either.

Is TCL available where you are? They make great budget TVs and are comparable to the 7000 series Samsung, for the $. Low input lag. 

 

Also what size are you looking for?
