Transcend M.2 SSD 420S running too hot

So i've got a Hp Elitebook 840 g1 notebook that has a m.2 slot in it so I've bought a Transcend M.2 SSD 420S to put in it.But after a temp check i see that the ssd is runnig too hot(i believe) 67 degrees without any load.I've put heatsink on it and the temps got 10 degrees lower but my question is Is this normal for a 2242 m.2 ssd is the drive bad and i need to replace it.Someone with a m.2 ssd and how are your temps?

I know that some m.2 drives can hit 100c while under load, but that is a bit much.

Also inside a notebook temps are gonna be a little hotter, because all the other components heat it up aswell.

I thought my 500GB WD Black m.2 SSD hitting mid to late 40*cs was hot but thats rather rediculous.

That's... odd but probably fine. If it dies you can warranty it

If i am in a room with AC it never goes above 54-55 ,forgot to mension that the heatsink is so big that it touches the chassis and heats up the bottom of the laptop.
