Posted August 25, 2018 Hi there, so I'm new at building PC's and am now wanting to build my own for the first time. I've been watching LTT and other tech channels for over 2 years, so I've got some knowledge. I want to have an SSD for the Windows 10 operating system, and then a 2 TB hard drive for everything else. Does anybody know what the ideal size for this SSD would be? I know that Windows 10 64bit needs 20gb of storage, but this does seem a bit small and might bring some problems for updates in the future. At least that's what I think. Thanks in advance! Posted August 25, 2018 I would recommend at least 250GB if you want downloads/documents on SSD and 500 is sweat spot where you can install some frequent games on it. It really depend what your workload and what you going to use the computer for. Magical Pineapples
