Started backup since 2017 May for work,

Uploaded 370.54TB and counting..

Paid EUR 1738.89 and counting..

 

Google Enterprise on right side,

Started backup since 2015 July with my friends,

Uploaded 127.2TB and counting..

Paid USD 3720.8 and counting..

 

Still cheaper than any physical arrays with electricity bill.

I'm using 3 of 1GB wan services, about USD 65 per 1 wan per month.

NEVER USE GOOGLE DRIVE on WEB!

There are no progress bar except uploading. Moving, Deleting multiple files will break your health.

When you delete 1K+ files, your browser will dead or goes to limbo. And you'll never know what you've done.

Trash Can Stuck on too many files.. while Chrome draining ram.

You should use rclone or similar for managing(or hoarding) data.

 

Dragging files to Google Drive, Changes file timestamps.

rclone can freeze timestamps.

 

After 1 trillion years, If you need to find something, Google Drive search is pain.

Use Cloud Search. (You can find that clicking on the left side of your account icon.)

Hi, 2022 is coming... i stored a lot of data with this method, and I got a mail from google saying that gsuite is going to die.. They want me to migrate to Google Workspaces, but i did't found any plan that uses infinite GBs of data at the same price. Do I need to be scared and starting to search about a NAS?
