Will this cooler fit?

Go to solution Solved by Origami Cactus,

The cases max cooler height is 165mm, and the cooler itself is 165 mm, so it is hard to say.

You will probably have issues with putting the sidepanel on, but theoretically it should fit...

For what it is worth, my case supports up to 160mm coolers and my cooler is 160mm and it fits in the case with no problems at all and no issues with putting the side panel on.

I have a different cooler and case, even different brands, but it seems like the manufacturers are at least a bit lenient with what does and does not fit.

But anyways, after a bit more searching I found these two builds that use your specific case and cooler:

And they seem to have no issues. The second guy even says:

My first Gaming build, I wasn't sure if the D-15 would fit in my case so I took a risk and got it anyway, it's awesome.

So you will be just fine with this combo.

The specs generally err on the side of caution so a 165mm tall cooler should fit in a case with 165mm of clearance for a cooler.

That being said, the NH-D15 heatink is only 160mm with the fans lowered. It's 165mm tall with the fans centered in the default position.

Oh, i didnt knew you could lower the fans. But doesnt that cause ram clearance issues?

I only see your reply if you @ me.

There's 32mm of ram clearance available with the fans in the default position. For more ram clearance, the fan can be raised or moved to the other side of the heatsink for up to 64mm of clearance.
