Thank goodness for old forum posts

So a couple days ago me and my dad built a PC. After I left he started having issues with it but he's not tech savvy at all so he came "to the website that I'm always staring at" and looked through all the forum posts about graphics card issues...(well I should say he got there eventually)

Needless to say the wealth of knowledge here helped him diagnose the issues (not seated properly and bad driver installation) and saved him a trip from Best Buy...again.

So yeah... Long story short I'm just saying thanks for the help... Even if it was indirectly.

And this is main reason why you can get old posts locked but not deleted.

Also why it helps to use the "Mark as correct answer" option on replies.

I think if I were unemployed and REALLY bored and had no games to play ... I would make a gaint knowledge base for troubleshooting PC builds lol.

And why it’s so annoying when people edit out their content.
